Blank Slate

Becoming the person I strive for wasn’t an endeavor I pursued for myself, I wanted to be the best person I could be for my family and those who gave me all the opportunities I have today. My show Blank slate allowed me to dive into who I am and what pushes me to succeed. Each person illustrated in my show hold a prominent characteristic that I have discovered in myself, a characteristic hold pride in possessing. Alongside illustrating my immediate family, I attempted to use reference photos that give the audience a view through my eyes of my family. Most see them as reserved and private but I see a whole world of memories and life that I wanted to share with anybody willing to look. My show is dedicated to those who push others to succeed and hold family above anything else.
