Wildness

Growing up surrounded by pristine natural environments in Colorado, I’ve always been humbled by their beauty, agency, and wildness. As a photographer, I try my best to capture these qualities in the natural world. However, I also want to capture these qualities in urban or “human” environments and find similarities between the natural world and the human world, which is commonly viewed as separate. I often do so in a digital format so I can edit the photos to push the color and lighting and achieve the aesthetic I’m going for.
